I was born in Denver, Colorado. I grew up on Green Mountain with my parents and my younger brother, where I graduated High School in 1995. I went to Fort Lewis College in Durango, where I studied Journalism and Mass Communications. Although I have an appreciation and talent for Literary Journalism and creative nonfiction, the majority of my teenage years and adult life has been spent working with preschool aged children. As a former Preschool Ministry Director, I have worked with children in many different capacities, from teaching to planning, directing to training others.

My husband and I have 3 amazing children of our own. I have been very blessed to be a stay-at-home mother, for the last 4 years. However, with my youngest now in school, I desired an opportunity to use my skills and experience and invest myself in something that would bring a sense of accomplishment, as well as make a positive, meaningful contribution to the lives of others. I want to be stretched and to grow as a person.

I have always been passionate about taking good care of myself and my family. I prefer and pursue natural health care alternatives, whenever possible. I love cooking, reading, arts and crafts, hiking, zumba and quality-time with friends and family. I have found a good cultural match here at Alpine Wellness and I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of a practice that promotes optimal health and teaches others a better way of life.
